1. Who can participate in the Clean Shop Program?

Any business or organization within Winona County that can be licensed as a Very Small Quantity Generator of hazardous waste can participate. Clean Shop participants can dispose of up to 2,200 pounds annually through this program.

2. How Do I Get Started?

Call the Clean Shop Program at 507-457-6462 and request an application. After you have returned the completed application, you will be contacted by Clean Shop staff who will schedule an appointment time and assist you with any additional forms, if required. 

You will also receive an information packet containing instructions on how to safely package and transport your waste to the Winona County Household Hazardous Waste Facility. Waste is accepted by prior appointment only and approval is required before delivery.

3. What is the Cost to use the Clean Shop Program?

The Clean Shop Program is an easy, low-cost hazardous waste disposal option available to Very Small Quantity Generators. Disposal charges vary based on the type and quantity of waste.
