Material Recovery Facility (MRF)

Ever wonder where your recycling actually goes?

Harter’s Quick Clean-Up, our contracted recycling hauler, owns and operates an MRF: Green Circle Recycling. Here, they recover and re-use the valuable materials we put in our recycling carts by selling to various markets.

The benefits of single-stream recycling is that you no longer have to sort the material within your recycling bin. Just mix them all together! With the ease of recycling being the biggest benefit is it also important to recycling right. Putting non-recyclable materials in your cart may contaminate recyclable materials and reducing the amount of material that can be recovered.
