Winona County Victim Services is a general crime victim program that assists crime victims in navigating and understanding the criminal justice system while a case is proceeding through court.
Winona County Victim Services also provides information regarding crime victims' rights granted to them under Minnesota Statute 611A. There are no fees associated with the services provided.
General crime includes, but is not limited to assault, terroristic threats, robbery, burglary, theft, identity theft, homicide, criminal vehicular homicide or injury, arson, harassment/stalking, and criminal damage to property.
Winona County Victim Services can also assist victims of child abuse, domestic assault, or sexual assault as these cases proceed through court.
