8:45 a.m.         Sign-in, meet and greet; coffee and donuts

9:00-11:00       MPCA Staff: Manure management planning will help you analyze Excel-based plan                                              requirements to meet County and State requirements

11:00-noon:    Individualized help session for manure management plans

12:00-12:15     Box lunches provided

12:15 -12:45    UMN-Extension Agriculture Educator-Jake Overgaard: Nitrogen variability in manure and                          impacts on yield, movement of nitrogen in soils and research data.

12:45-2:00       Winona County SWCD Resource Specialist II-Amanda Gentry; Fillmore SWCD Nutrient                               Management Specialist—Sara West: Nutrient Management, feedlot fixes, technical assistance                          (319 Low-cost Fix, Regional Conservation Partnership Program EQIP), manure spreader                          calibration and More!

3:00-4:30         Individualized work on plans and final questions

A computer will be provided at the training lab so bring a flash drive to take your work back to your office.  If you have a laptop with your personal management plan, you can also bring it along.
